These blueberries were painted with the Arrtx acrylic brush markers. I love that by using acrylic paint, you can keep them opaque or dilute with water for a more transparent look. After painting the blueberries, I used my Rosa Gallery watercolors to give a purple “shadow”. I love the look! I created a surface pattern design that I have available at Spoonflower in fabric and wallpaper. 🙂
I love my Posca paint pens, but these are much more affordable and do a great job! I have painted many things with them recently. Of course, they perform best on paper that isn’t as textured, but they are very versatile. These might be a great gift idea for crafty friends and family.
