Who doesn't love pigment in a stick? I know that I do! I have used Lyra Aquarelle for the longest time, and then added Caran D'ache to the mix. There are also a great variety of other brands and quality. These Scribble Sticks made by Ranger ink for Dina Wakley. They come in tins by sets of twelve. They are lovely colors! A Crane Painting in My Art Talens Journal
I love birds! There are so many shapes, styles, and colors, which makes them fun to paint. This crane-type bird was painted in my Royal Art Talens art journal, then I created a seamless pattern that can be used for paper, fabric, and wallpaper! I used oil pastels, some watercolor, and pen. Vintage Flowers with Stamp
This painting was fun! for the lavender flowers, I used a wet-on-wet technique. After they dried, I then added the blue and gold. I love the feathery effect that the wet-on-wet technique gives! Of course, I also had to do a bit of splattering. :) I used a stamp set from Creative Expressions Sam Poole for the Paris script and numbers. I added a painted border. Oil Pastel Floral Painting
I'm back with one of my favorite art supplies-oil pastels! These water soluble oil pastels are even easier to use. They layer beautifully, and when slightly diluted in water, spread easily.
