Here are some cards that I made around November. I used my colored pencils for the fun, cute animals! The circle and scalloped dies are from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I don't make a ton of cards these days. Every couple of months I create in batches, since my desk is usually covered in oil pastels or paint. :) I love die cutting from Distress-sprayed paper! The simple color and shapes are quick and effective. It's fun to go shopping in my craft room. We don't have to have ... View the Post

Advent Calendar 2023 Cards Papercraft Society
Okay, I'm just a year behind! :) I love Papercraft Society monthly box kits. Having said that, last year's advent calendar did not impress me. I gave it a year rest and decided to make some cards. I just didn't have inspiration last year. Perhaps this year's offering is better? Comment if you grabbed the one from 2024! Anyway, I made some fun cards that would be great for kids! The flamingo on craft paper was colored with colored pencils. These are definitely not my style, but I think kids ... View the Post

Here is another batch of cards that I created for someone. I shopped my stash! I also used some fun techniques like heat embossing, ink sprays, and colored pencils. Papercraft Society & Distress Watercolor Pencils
I keep trying to love these Tim Holtz Distress watercolor pencils. I have sets one through three. I do love the Distress color line, and often used the sprays and ink pads. These pencils look so pretty in their little tins. :) I grabbed an older Papercraft Society box, as I have been churning out a fair deal of cards lately. I smooshed some liquid ink on Bristol paper. I stamped the image on a piece of sturdy cardstock and used the pencils to color. I used a Tonic Studios shimmer pen to add ... View the Post
