Gouache can be a fun and versatile medium. It is like watercolor, but with opacity. It’s matte finish also gives a distinct look from painting with the glossiness of acrylics. Gouache is great for layering! I painted this folk art lion, as inspired by the book Imagine a Forest. This book is inspirational and full of great information.
