I often paint smaller subjects in my art journal, then create a digital seamless, surface pattern designs for my Etsy shop, as well as my sales tab here on my blog. These designs get used for fabric, paper, wallpaper, and many other creative endeavors. For the flowers, I used watercolor in a loose style. I love the wet-on-wet technique. You can’t always control what the paint will do, but you can get unique results!
My little bee was painted with acrylic markers and a shimmer pen from Tonic Studios.
