I painted these as a fun experiment with lots of rich watercolors from Kuretake Gansai Tambi. I have a VIDEO below! It’s fun to let the colors flow into each other for a more organic result. These paints are so rich, a lot of layering is not required. I wonder what it would be like to have flowers for hair? 🙂

I love Japanese watercolors. They have a certain richness that my other paints don’t have (I love those too). I also love the larger pans, which are great for larger paintbrushes. Being able to buy open stock replacements is also a BIG advantage!
