Hand pies are a tidy way to carry your food around. 🙂 No matter how you eat them, there is something fun about your dinner packaged in a bread wrapper. I use my bread roll dough, but you can use many doughs for this. I adapted the recipe from ATK’s Make-Ahead book (links below). Video below!

You could make the filling in many flavor profiles. I used grass-fed lamb with a paleo seasoning from Thrive Market. You could easily change this out for ground beef or turkey.

Saute aromatics and minced veg, add seasonings, and then finish with some cheese.
Be sure to let the filling cool before attempting to fill the bread rounds.
