Colored pencils work really well on Strathmore Toned Tan paper. I’ve drawn this parakeet in mostly colored pencil, with a bit of Caran D’Ache Neocolors, and my faithful white Posca paint pen. 🙂 I love the bright colors. They are cheerful birds! At the bottom of the post, there is a video tutorial!
