I don’t know what it is about painters and fruit, but we sure do like the still life exercises! 🙂 The Lord made so many wonderful fruits (and tasty) with rich colors and textures, that make great subjects. I painted plums and oranges, and I have a YouTube short below. I love using Sennelier’s iridescent oil pastels to add final details. They have an amazing shimmer in person!

I used my trusty Strathmore toned tan paper. I love how it makes the color pop! I used mostly Mungyo Gallery oil pastels and added some details with my Prismacolor colored pencils.
