I love onions. I used to pick them out of the garden and munch on them raw. I guess that’s as wild as I got as a child. 🙂 They give off amazing flavor, as well as being good for you. They can also be quite beautiful. Their variegated, papery skins and greens, contrasted with their rustic roots. I’ve used Strathmore’s toned grey paper, soft pastels, oil pastels, colored pencils, and even a touch of Posca pens.
