Sometimes, simple is best. The year 2025 has been a tough one for me from a human perspective. I started with COVID, my mom falling and having to go into rehab, then she passed away. I was hacked and almost lost a lot, my oven caught on fire, and I have had three more viruses since. Humanly, it’s been rough. I am thankful that God’s grace is sufficient, and He perfectly meets us in the hard, dark places and times!
This painting is simple, but I just needed to create. Oil pastels deliver on a tactile experience, giving the brain an outlet for all the craziness of life. I have a short video below!
