I pulled out my Jane Davenport Ink Pens for a quick painting exercise and made these funny little baby chicks. This one turned out to be a Sumo Chick. :) This was closer to what I wanted. Either way, just make blobs of color, let it dry, then go in with details. Fun and quick! Meat Hand Pies (Recipe Card & Video)
Hand pies are a tidy way to carry your food around. :) No matter how you eat them, there is something fun about your dinner packaged in a bread wrapper. I use my bread roll dough, but you can use many doughs for this. I adapted the recipe from ATK's Make-Ahead book (links below). Video below! You could make the filling in many flavor profiles.
