I love working in my art journal! In this painting, I have used watercolors and colored pencils. I love how the pencils give boldness, detail, and texture to watercolors. I also used a little ink to add a few line details. Mixed media is a great way to use the strengths of each medium. I love how watercolor and pencils help one another. Making a swatch of the colors that you use can help you visualize how to fill in the "gaps". Plus, swatches can be pretty on their own. :) ... View the Post

Calligraphy Inks in Art

Caran D’Ache Neocolor II Florals
Caran D'ache Neocolor II water soluble sticks are wonderful to add to your mixed media art projects! You can use them dry, or activate with water for creamy goodness.
