This bunny painting started out with soft pastels. I like to use other media for the underpainting, since my oil pastels are so buttery. Eventually, they can be harder to layer. That is the beauty of mixed media art! I love the vintage vibe that I ended up with, as if he belongs in a children’s book. Maybe I’ll tackle a picture book at some point! VIDEO HERE
