This bird was so much fun to paint! I was following on of the birds in Tom Shepherd’s book Simply Paint Birds. It comes with a dot card of Daniel Smith watercolors, so I tried to just use those for the most part. I recommend the book if you love birds. It is a great read and has inspiring tutorials.
