Several years ago, I invested in a large set of Tombow Dual Brush markers. I didn’t really know what I was doing, as I had only worked with colored pencils previously. It was a great choice, because they are amazing, versatile markers! They are great for brush lettering, watercolor washes, card making, travel journaling, planners, and so much more! The range of colors is fantastic, and the color can be very bold! HERE is a color chart from Tombow.
With the fine tip end, you can add details to your drawing and color in very small spaces. You can color as is, or add water to dilute the color for variance. When you run out of your favorite color, you can order the markers open-stock.
I am working in my square art journal. As I think of stories to illustrate, the square format is a fun and manageable size.
