The water soluble option in the oil pastel world, is great for mixed media artists! Dipping the tip of the pastel in water, then applying to paper, results in a blendable, creamy stick of color. Here, I have used Portfolio and Ha Shi Aquarelle brands. They are both very economical and great on a variety of surfaces. I have used this floral to create a seamless pattern to be used as paper, wallpaper, and fabric!
